Ventallo and it’s lovely satellites

Ventallo

Ventallo is a quaint small town with several outlying hamlets.  It’s surrounded by fields of forage, olives and apples.  Highlights include la Pedra Dreta, which marks the crossroads at the border of Ventallo and Viladamat.  The context of la Pedra Dreta is uncertain, but It actually also marks the location of a formerly important settlement from Iberic and Roman times, evidenced by large quantities of pottery and some foundations located in the area.
